New page up today, HLWPP. What is HLWPP? Sadly I am noticing that many of the HL resource sites are disappearing. While not surprised at this I would like to start trying to preserve the sites by hosting them on my webspace. With my hosting provider I have plenty of room and up to 100 subdomains so this should not be a problem. If you know of any sites or site owners that would allow me to mirror their site please let me know!

Although I do not get to play anywhere near as much as I would like, I am still here. Since my site is about modifying Half-Life and improving experience I have decided to change the map cycle to have practice or skill building maps. Most of them are ones I have collected and a few of them I map myself. All the other maps are still on the server and can be called up by typing rockthevote while in game.

Due to the recent onslaught of spam I have been forced to change the site registration process. Users will now have to wait for me to confirm membership via email. This may result in a delay of up to 24 hours for approval but unfortunately this is necessary to prevent future spamming of the site.

Although not written by me I do have a new page on the site. This is a complete guide to lost Half-Life 1 packs. The guide was written by DarkIce in the Steam forums. With his permission I have brought the guide over here. If you find any errors as far as specific information, feel free to let him know. If you find any problems with any broken links or such, let me know as I had to do some conversion to code to put it on my site. Thanks again DarkIce!!!

I know my game server is not listed on the site anymore but it is still up, briefly. We are in the process of moving from NY to IN and the game server will need to be brought down during the move. Hopefully this should take no longer than a couple of weeks. Don't worry about the website stu-pidaso.net as this site is hosted off site. I will continue to keep this site up as long as people show an interest in Half-Life and want to customize it. See everyone soon!

FYI I am still looking for "stripper" files since my server had crashed. These are text files that change weapons and entities in maps. They would normally be named something like bootcamp_str.cfg

I have temporarily removed the server info window that was on the right side of the site. I am in the process of moving from New York to Indiana and am currently at a temporary location for the next 3 to 4 months while we have a house built. There server is still up but may change IP from time to time. I am also hoping to have time and money to rebuild my server in between the move.
